GARANTIEBIO-ECOCERT, ECOCERT CANADA are accredited by the Conseil des appellations agroalimentaires du Québec (CAAQ). It is illegal for a plant based in the Province of Quebec to pack, process or trade in Organic Products unless the company is certified by a certifier Accredited by the CAAQ.

Some Overseas certifiers claim they certify maple products coming from the Province of Quebec but any such claim is fraudulent as long as the certifier is not accredited by the CAAQ.
